Regina

Born and raised in Brazil, this internationally renowned artist, whose career encompasses dance/choreography, playwrighting and theater direction, has been living and working in NYC and in Rio de Janeiro since 1999.
Regina is a Certified Movement Analyst (CMA,1975) from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies - LIMS NYC, with specialization in in Systems Thinking for Leadership and in Bartenieff Fundamentals with Irmgard Bartenieff.
Miranda's dance company, the ACTORS & DANCERS of RJ was founded in 1980. Since then, this solid group of committed artists have been working together, becoming internationally recognized for its original choreographic language, precise technique and theatrical power. The company has maintained its commitment to innovation through polemical and challenging performances that interweave many disciplines, performing as much in traditional stage as in site-specific places. |

Nascida e criada no Brasil, esta artista de renome internacional, cuja carreira inclui dança, coreografia, dramaturgia e direção teatral, tem vivido e trabalhado em NYC e no Rio de Janeiro desde 1999. Regina é coreógrafa e Analista de Movimento formada pelo Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies - LIMS NYC (1975), com especialização em Pensamento Sistêmico para Liderança e em Bartenieff Fundamentals, com Irmgard Bartenieff.
A Cia Atores Bailarinos, dirigida por Regina Miranda iniciou suas atividades em 1980. Dsde então, o solido grupo de artistas que compoe a Cia. vem trabalhando em conjunto , sendo internacionalmente reconhecidos por sua linguagem original, técnica precisa e poderosa interpretação teatral. A cia. sempre manteve seu compromisso com a inovacão de linguagem, através de espetáculos polêmicos e instigantes, que entremeiam varias disciplinas, atuando tanto em palcos tradicionais quanto em lugares específicos.
